PCPNDT declaration
Sex determination of the foetus is not done at RV Clinic. It is a punishable offence under the PCPNDT Act, 1994.
The Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994, prohibits finding out or telling the sex of an unborn baby by any method, including ultrasound. No scan done for or arranged by RV Clinic will reveal the sex of the baby, no report will state it, and no member of staff will hint at it. Please do not ask. Requests are refused, and persistent requests are reported as the law requires. Scans in pregnancy are done to check the baby's growth and health only.
RV Clinic is a clinic, not a hospital
RV Clinic is an outpatient clinic. Surgical procedures and deliveries are carried out at an affiliated licensed hospital.
Consultation, examination, pregnancy check-ups, scans, tests and follow-up happen at RV Clinic Madipakkam and RV Clinic Thalambur. No operation, delivery, anaesthesia or admission takes place at either clinic address. When a procedure is needed, it is carried out by Dr. Ragavi Vikram at Unittas Multispeciality Hospital.
