RV ClinicObstetrics & Gynaecology

Gynaecology services in Chennai

Dr. Ragavi Vikram sees every patient herself at RV Clinic Madipakkam and RV Clinic Thalambur. Each page below explains one problem in plain words: what it is, when to come in, what happens at the visit, and what treatment is offered.

Not sure which page you need? Go to what is troubling you?, find the problem in your own words, and it will point you to the right page.

Pregnancy

Confirming the pregnancy, monthly check-ups and planning the delivery. Sugar, BP, twins or a previous loss mean closer watching, on a page of their own.

Periods and fertility

Periods that do not come, come too often or come too heavily, help with conceiving, and choosing a contraceptive. Teenage period problems have their own page.

Surgery and specialist care

Bladder and prolapse problems, keyhole surgery, hysterectomy and its alternatives, cancer screening, menopause, infections, and clinical cosmetic consultation.

Where surgery happens

RV Clinic is a consulting clinic, not a hospital. Consultation, examination, tests, treatment plans, medicines, follow-up and minor procedures such as a Pap smear or copper-T insertion happen at the clinic.

Every operation and every delivery is done by Dr. Ragavi herself at Unittas Multispeciality Hospital, a licensed hospital. She fixes the date with you at the clinic, operates or conducts the delivery there, and sees you again at the clinic for follow-up. No operation is done at either clinic address. The hospital affiliations of RV Clinic page explains how admission, insurance and follow-up work.

Which clinic to visit

The same doctor consults at both clinics, so choose the one that is easier to reach. RV Clinic Madipakkam serves Velachery, Nanganallur, Adambakkam, Keelkattalai, Pallikaranai and Medavakkam, and sees more women with gynaec problems, fibroids, menopause symptoms, teenage period problems and surgery planning. RV Clinic Thalambur is off OMR near Navalur junction, close to the IT parks at Siruseri and Sholinganallur, and sees more pregnancy, antenatal and fertility patients. Its evening hours suit people who work along OMR. Directions, parking and booking are on each branch page.

Frequently asked questions

I do not know which service I need. What should I do?

Describe the problem in your own words when you call or WhatsApp; you do not need to name the condition. Online, the symptom guide lists problems the way patients say them, such as period not coming or urine leaking, and links each to the right page.

Is surgery done at RV Clinic?

No. RV Clinic is an outpatient clinic. Operations and deliveries are done by Dr. Ragavi at Unittas Multispeciality Hospital; the consultation before and the follow-up after happen at the clinic. The hospital affiliations page walks through admission, insurance and discharge.

Do you do IVF?

No. IVF and ICSI are not offered at RV Clinic. For couples who are not conceiving, the clinic does the evaluation, treats causes such as PCOD or a thyroid problem, and gives ovulation-induction tablets or injections with follicle monitoring. If IUI or IVF is needed, Dr. Ragavi explains when and refers you to a fertility centre. See infertility treatment.

Can I come for a check-up when nothing is wrong?

Yes. A routine visit covers a Pap smear, a breast check, the HPV vaccine if you want it, and any question about periods, contraception or menopause. The cancer screening page explains what a Pap smear involves and how often it is needed.

Book a consultation

Call or WhatsApp the clinic, say what the problem is in your own words, and say which branch suits you. Most patients get a time the same day.
